As members will already know, the Club’s membership entails many privileges, one of which is to enjoy the Club’s facilities at members’ rates which are very much reduced as compared to guests’ rates, especially for golfing.

To ensure that members’ interests and privileges are protected, the Club is looking into carrying out membership checks, from time to time.  It is important that we have the understanding of members when we carry out such an exercise.  This is done with the objective of ensuring that non-members are appropriately registered and pay the necessary fees before they are permitted to access the Club’s facilities.

Some members may feel that this is inconvenient as they will be required to show their membership cards to the staff when required, whilst some may feel that it is not necessary as the staff can recognise them.  However, in order that the checks can be carried out successfully without any prejudice to all members, full co-operation from members will definitely go a long way to make it a pleasant experience for all, the staff included.

Such checks will be carried out, at random, at various areas including the Golfing Reception and at the Tee Boxes.  During such times, members will be required to personally register for their game at the Golfing Reception with their membership cards; and at the tee boxes, members will also be required to show their membership cards to the Starters.
